Pacquiao vs Mayweather Live HBO Boxing

Tensions continue to flare before their May 2 bout.
Manny Pacquiao’s legendary trainer Freddie Roach says Floyd Mayweather is a bad seed and that he is looking forward to seeing the 38-year-old get knocked out when he squares off with the Filipino superstar in May.

During an interview with sports analyst Jim Rome over the weekend, Roach slated the undefeated welterweight for being “very insecure” and claimed he’s set a poor example for younger generations. Once you are able to avoid taking side with a boxer then you might be able to appreciate the virtues and flaws of both Manny Pacquiao and Floyd Mayweather Jr without bias, as they head towards their fight on May 2nd at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas, Nevada. As for Pacquiao and Mayweather loyal fans it is almost impossible to reason with them of why one of them would lose, because a fan boy will never accept his fighter is the underdog and is more likely to lose the bout. The boxing experts know very well how to spot the flaws on a fighter and also are able to distinguish the strengths and weakness on the different boxing styles but casual fans are a different story. Another classic matador versus the bull encounter is awaiting fight fans on May 2nd.

Many opponents have fallen to Mayweather and Pacquiao since demand for the fight was at its peak in 2010. Whilst Manny was a seemingly unstoppable force at this time, the pressure fighter has since been subject to a knockout loss to his counter-punching nemesis, Juan Manuel Marquez. Pressure fighters do not age as well as counter-punchers and many could argue that Manny is now exhibiting a degree of wear and tear. I think that Floyd is too intelligent. I don't see what all the hoopla is about this fight. You talking about Floyd, who is undefeated in 47 fights. He won all of them. You got Pacquiao who got knocked out flat on his face and about 5 losses in his career and stylistically, they say styles make a fight," stated Gary Russell Sr., trainer and father of featherweight contender Gary Russell Jr., who shared his thoughts on the highly-anticipated mega-fight between Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao. As far as Russell Sr. is concerned, Pacquiao has been exposed to having problems with intelligent fighters and there's no smarter fighter in side the ring than Mayweather.
